Ubiquitously expressed protein which belongs to the UPF0483 (OVCA2) family. Encoded in an intron of the gene DPH1/OVCA1 (same strand). Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitously expressed. Post-translational modifications: Proteolytically degraded in response to RA and 4HPR treatment in a time- and dose-dependent manner in the promyelocytic leukemia cell line HL-60. Similarity: Belongs to the UPF0483 (OVCA2) family.
